Thank you for bug report.

You can add sk1 to menu list using menu editor: System->Preferences->Main Menu
In next snapshot we will fix this issue and add according resources into package.

Concerning font issue, please report what is a font package you have installed for Tahoma & Symbol replacement. Native win32 fonts work without any problem.

I think i haven't installed/replaced any fonts. [Don't know] Everything's Ubuntu's 9.10 default :)

Someone suggested this in ubuntu forum http://ubuntuforu...?t=1413287
Try installing these packages:

* ttf-symbol-replacement
* ttf-tahoma-replacement

Oh, that's strange. The package list for the tahoma one says the files are
Download source  Code

/usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-tahoma-replacement/tahoma-replacement.ttf/tahoma.ttf
/usr/share/fonts/truetype/ttf-tahoma-replacement/tahomabd-replacement.ttf/tahomabd.ttf

which is not quite what your program was looking for. So perhaps you have the fonts installed already but the sk1 program is mangling the path (stopping at the first .ttf it found).

The other alternative is to install the msttcorefonts package to get the Microsoft fonts.

but i didn't add anything :D

I also have Ubuntu Karmic and observe the same issue with complaints on missing fonts.

Meanwhile the fonts are installed by default (exactly where doson mentioned), but sK1 seems to expect them installed somewhat differently.

I've looked through sK1 installation folder but could not find the settings for the fonts. Is there a way for me to fix sK1 configuration so to indicate the right fonts placement?

Thanks and best regards,
Sergey

Application collects recursively all ttf-fonts from /usr/share and ~/.fonts So the problem cause is not a wrong font placement.

I have found ttf-tahoma-replacement package. It's in universe repository, not in main repository. The package contains a tahoma-replacement.ttf directory which was recognized by our font scan routine as a probable font file. We have fixed this issue in rev.1003 so there will no such warnings in next preview snapshot.

Igor, thank you for the good news. Is there any schedule for the next snapshot build?

Sergey

The next snapshot is scheduled on April. Also we are preparing UniCovertor 1.1.5 release. This version will has a lot of improvements especially for win32 platform (MSI installer, Windows Explorer integration, upgrade script for Inkscape etc.).
