Thread subject: sK1 Project :: Configuring & running UniConvertor in Windows

I'm new to Python as well as UniConvertor. I'm using the latest, installed in Windows Vista 32bit.

I figured out how convert a .cdr to a .wmf, but the quality of the resulting .wmf is poor (as compared to using http://filespazz.com/). Is there a way to change the quality of the resulting .wmf?

Also, is there a way to batch convert many files that are in multiple directories and subdirectories?

Thank you!

Example:

Find the file c:\Python26\Lib\site-packages\uniconvertor\app\plugins\Filters\wmfsaver.py
and manually change the value EPS. For example EPS = 0.5

Code

# Fault Tolerance for flattening Beziers.
# If you find the curves not smooth enough, lower this value.
EPS = 2

Only in the directory.

Code
@echo off
set EXE=python -c "from uniconvertor import uniconv; uniconv();"

if "%~1" =="" (
echo USAGE: batchuc.cmd [INPUT MASK FILES] [OUTPUT FILES EXTENSION]
echo Example: batchuc.cmd *.* svg
) else (
for %%f in (%1) do (echo %%f - %%~f.%~2
call %EXE% "%%f" "%%~f.%~2")
)

That helped with the line smoothing, thanks. Now how about the quality in color and details? Is it possible?

Color management is planned in the next release.

Hi Windrider6,

Given the clipart that you showed as an example, I think I need to do exactly the same. I have a bunch of CD's of clipart that I want to convert from CMX into EPS/WMF/... I want to use UniConvertor and I just saw your message. Did you succeed in the conversion of the complete collection? How did you do the conversion in batch and what were the settings of the UniConvertor for the best results?

Gr,

Claude
